Default Couple of new birds

I've finished a couple of birds.

One is from the "flock" of chickadees that I posted awhile back. It's an adult and one that I wanted to do with legs. The toes are actually cast pewter. I made the legs from brass rods and epoxy.

The next one is an Evening Grosbeak. The legs on this guy are all cast pewter.

My next project is to finish up the baby Chickadees. I had planned to mount them with an adult, but have changed my mind. There are some sizing issues btwn adult and chicks. But, this will represent my first step up into a base utilizing a polished wood base.

Also underway is a mount of the final adult Chickadee. On that one I hope to finish the legs completely, including the toes. Also this one will utilize a finished wood base.

More on those when finished...hope to finish the chicks today.
