Default Cooling His Heels - The Completed Figure

I finally got around to finishing up my cowboy caricature for the "Cooling His Heels" scene that I've been working on. I think he turned out nicely. I can't wait to get him into his scene and really flesh it out with some great details. I would love to know what you think.

There's a full description of this guy and how I went about carving him on my blog if you would care to stop by at www.theoldstump.blogspot.com

This is a great carving. I have been following this project on your blog. Can't wait to see how it all comes together. Please keep us posted. Also what kind of filler did you use? GinnytooU

Ginny, I use an Elmbers woodfiller putty. It's a thin paste that squeezed into cracks and holes very nicely.
