I, also, will enjoy what you share. Mike kringes when I get near the power tools, especially his router and his dove tailer. I know nothing about router carving.

ROTF-LMHO !!!!

Stacey ... one photo really is worth a thousand and one words! Lots of pictures - lots and lots and lots - are more important than words ... as long as you tell us what depth you're working and what router bit you are using

Susan

I am working on the ending to my tutorial but I believe that I will hold off for a few days so I can enjoy watching
Stacey work ....

Hi Stacey, Alright finally a power tool that I have---well not actually mine--it belongs to my hubby along with the skillsaw and tablesaw don't have a bandsaw yet. Bob's discription of his router was so funny--you did mean it to be funny right Bob? Anyway Stacey looking forward to following along. 'It's Router Time'

Hi Stacey, not a new router but an old one he's had for years--but works great. Well, in hubbys skilled hands--don't know what it would do in mine. LOL Guess I'll have to learn how to work with it. Still looking for a bandsaw and still don't have a power carver yet either.
Isn't it great when you can say a project is almost completed! Your work is really beautiful and lucky is the person who receives it.
Kathy

Could you share your technique for creating the bark detail on the trees in your carved doors? It looks great!!! I am planning to begin a similar project soon and it will be by far the largest and most complex project to date. Any help is appreciated.
