Default comments welcome

Hey everyone, thankyou for the warm welcome while back.Gonna try to post pictures of a couple of my little spirit buddies.Bought gloves for carving instead of my old leather one I was using. Thanks for advice on gloves.I find my wood at one of the local swimming holes and at the beach mainly. The two carvings are sinker redwood roots. The wood is fairly hard compared to the rest of the tree, usually been burnt in the past from logging.Finding the wood is like atreasure hunt, swimming hole is colder than a well diggers behind though.Anyway, heres pictures, advice and comments are welcome and appreciated.Guy with teeth is latest one I finished.Name is cousin Larry. He's one I gouged myself on.The other one is second woodspirit I carved. God Bless, Sharon, newer member

You'll find a few wood spirit carvers on here Sharon so your work has lots of company. Found wood adds an extra challenge as you need to shape your characters with the wood provided...but that's what makes them unique. Great happy woodspirits.
