| | City of Toronto - Coat of Arms This is a carving of the new Coat of Arms for the City of Toronto that was done by about 20 of us from the Ontario Woodcarvers . It was then dontated to the city.

| | Re: City of Toronto - Coat of Arms Our leader - Tom Gallagher - insisted that the whole carving be done "by hand". We started it Thanksgiving weekend at our Carving Competition at Metro City Hall (Oct.7 & 8) then moved over the Lee Valley Tools, where most of the work was done. The background was a #5 - 1/4" chisel - if I remember correctly. It was handed over to the City on December11th. My twelve year old son also worked on it.
