Many Many thanks to all that have responded to my meager attempts at wood carving. It means a lot to here from all of you. I do feel I'm getting a little better with each piece but realize I've got a long way to go but, hey, I'm havin fun. I can assure you all, "I will never put a gloss finish on another piece"

I think hillbilly's might be your nitch Cliff. Those two characters turned out fine. What are you doing with all those little characters anyway?

Patrick, hey there, I'm just stackin them up on a shelf, the wife says they all look cute. I just finished painting another one this morning, started at 6:00AM, it's now 8:10, dang I'm slow. I'll post him later, it's one of Genes little guys relaxing in Florida. Let me know what ya think.

Great job on the little guys Dad,nice detail and painting.
