Default Chip carving for 2008 Dayton show.

Thought you might like to see what I have been carving on for this years Sauder and Dayton shows. This octagon is approximately 24" X 24".

This is either going to be a wall plaque with a frame around it or a table top. Not sure what to do with it yet.

I will post pictures as I go.

Beautiful work Roger! So crisp and clean. Somehow it has a Lotus blossom look to it similar to one's I've seen in a mandala or other Eastern style art. Very nicely done.

Lynn, I can't wait to see your work in person again!

Hi Ho, I do my best to make no mistakes and I will post more pictures.

Mark, you know more about art than I will ever know. This just was an idea in my head and I went with it. I'm sure there was a subliminal image in my head somewhere.

Hi8 Rog,

Beautiful work. The lines are so precise and clean looking. You must have a strong, steady hand. The outer lines of the small circles near the edge look very thin and delicate. Very nice.
