| | Re: Chickadees Looks like you've successfully "bred" your own flock. And you did a great job at it too, especially if these are your first. Good luck with the legs. Seems like they are kind of difficult.
We've got two lovebirds and just last night I was looking at them. One had his wings crossed in back and the other had hers side-by-side. I thought about carving them but I got to looking at their body feathers and didn't know how I would do it so I said forget it. My wife bought a figurine of a baby bird, fluffed out, wings spread, beak open. She thought it would make a good model for me to carve. Yeah, right! |

Great job--I've carved ornamental chickadees and I know you put a lot more GREAT work into yours than I did in mine!
