| | Re: Chess set Wonderful job on the set and a great idea for waiting times! I like ChuckT's idea for bishops and knights, dragons and sorcerors, but the unicorn looks fine. Well done. The good vrs evil idea is a good way to do up the opposing side, so trolls would work.

| | Re: Chess set Very clever and very well executed. My only suggestion would be a little of the red color from the hats dry brushed on the bricks of the castles. Beautiful set....can't wait to see the "enemy". |

| | Re: Chess set Gene, I agree time well spent and you have a wonderful chess set in the making. I don't play chess, but how about just changing the hat and robe color for the other grouping. Do you have to change the castle color also? The robe color on the present grouping looks like green and of course the hat color is red. How about just reversing the colors make the robes red and the hats green. If you have to change the castle color make it gray. Just a thought.

| | Re: Chess set Gene, Absolutely wonderful and inspiring. Once I get this current crop of woodburnings done I need to get back to doing some carving and a wonderful way to do it. Thank you for sharing this with us!
