Thanks guys this was a lot of fun to carve.

Kitaye I have heard of Olive Oil for staining, is there a problem of it spoiling?

Keoma this spoon is spoken for, but I sure could make another one if you wanted to trade a certain Rooster Spoon had caught my eye if you know what I mean.

Kathy I been seriously thinking of using the Golden Oak Stain, I sure like how it looks on the Kachina Relief I did.

I use it on my butcher block and on my kitchen work table. Never had a problem with it spoiling. If the spoon is used for anything other than display it will have to be recoated every couple of months.
