Great!! I can almost see a story in the features. I'll have to keep that in mind about bending the feathers. Did you carve them first of after you steamed them?

Jim, I carved them first the detail is easier to put in when laying flat.

Bruce,this is such a powerfull carving and with all the excellent details that you carved into it,its just totally such a well done carving! Great work always from you and this is another one to add to that list.

Hey Bruce, fine looking Indian you carved there. Unique hair style and amazing work with the feathers. I expect you'll be working outdoors more now with the weather slowly getting warmer.

Cedar shingles, who'd of thought and they look great, very nice effect. Super carving the face takes on an glowing effect. What color did you use--just curious. Thanks for sharing.
