Lynn I cutout the horsehead blank based on the sketch and made it 2 inches thick as you said, however your picture looks more like 1 inch than two? I drew in the v between the ears and the whole thing looks too large? |

| | Re: Carving A Horse Head I meant that you had to use 2" stock thinking that that is what is normally available. Look at the 3" cutout and you can see the approximate thickness of the head. |

I have got to finish this basement project first or my wife will shoot me. We got our basement flooded about 6 weeks ago so my carving has been on hold for awhile.
