Great carving Chuck. The braid is a nice touch. Interesting grain as well. I'm yet to try a full bust - yours turned out just fine.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. This was my first crack at a bust and indian.

Patrick: The wood is butternut, my first time using it. Carves really nice!

Mark: Vic is just awesome. I have never seen anyone make chips fly like this fella! He is just a great guy and a good teacher. I really liked the fact that he let the class work on whatever subject they pleased.

Bart: Two coats of BLO with a light wash on the bandana. I still plan on applying a coat of WATCO Finishing Wax.

I learned a lot on this project. Hope to try another one here soon.
