WOW!!! I have been away from the computer for a few days. I missed a lot of things. Your carving is fantastic. I was wondering what type of wood did you use?and how long did it take to carve?

It is carved out of basswood ,and as far as time if you look at the first page their is a drawing done on 1/12/06.
and it was finished in a week,bt I had to give the base some thought.Thanks for the interest in the project.

Wow Mark! Great little guy. Sort of a cross between an Allen G. nose and a Gary F. Guess it's a Mark A. nose..... Nice base design also. Gotta bring to Charlotte. Could be a "Blue".
