It is carved out of basswood ,and as far as time if you look at the first page their is a drawing done on 1/12/06.
and it was finished in a week,bt I had to give the base some thought.Thanks for the interest in the project.
Wow Mark! Great little guy. Sort of a cross between an Allen G. nose and a Gary F. Guess it's a Mark A. nose..... Nice base design also. Gotta bring to Charlotte. Could be a "Blue".
