Default Calling Dr. "T"

Came back from the moutains in an extreme amount of pain from arthritis in my hips. Went to see one Dr. and he drooled over the chance to do some cutting. But he did order a cortizone injection in one hip and that's when my case got taken over by another Dr. He might have the biggest needles anyone has ever seen but I can promise ya that once he hits the spot the pain disappears! He says that with a shot or two a year I should be able to manage just find with out surgery. First time in 3-years I've been relatively pain free. I figured I'd whittle him caricature as a thank you. It's the least I can do!

Very nice of you to give him a carving. It would be great if we could go back to bartering.

Hi Eddy,

Looks to me like you've done another winner of a carving - you've sure got the touch on these caracature guys. He's fantastic! Glad to read you're getting some good pain relief, too!

Good one! I thought for sure he'd be holding this massive syringe / needle behind his back when I clicked on the third pix.

I'm not normally afraid of needles...but when I had to have a shot put into the side of my heel.. well THAT was the biggest meanest needle I've ever seen. STILL think so to this day. If that pain ever comes back in my heel I'm pretty sure I'll cut my foot off before going to have another shot in it. ha ha ha

What size are your characters Eddy?

Marcia.

Thanks for looking Gary! Glad that you're getting some relief. Both my wife and I can relate. She has RA and of course I've got the Osteo compounded by bursitis. I sure am glad that old age is so much fun. If I didn't have all these doctors to visit I'd have nothing to do!

Steve... Heee! Heee! If we was dependent on bartering my Doc might have used even a longer needle than he did!

Thanks Ron... It will probably be a couple of months before I see him again and by then he probably won't even remember but I don't do it for the kudos anyway. I just have fun whittling them and sending them off.
