I wanted to thank my fellow woodcarvers that gave me advice on the Buddhaa. The choice of wood for the figure itself gave it a slightly blotchy look that appears worse in the photos than in real life. Sure would appreciate any comments since most of you have a lot more time in carving than I do. I have sent two photos, one in the rough out stage and one in the finished state. Thanks again for your help.
