I just finished this bread board from my own simply drawn owl, and thought it might give some folks an idea for a gift. I borrowed the bread board idea from the acanthus leaf design I did at a class, but this owl is my own. It was an easy carve, and only took a few hours. It is carved in basswood, oiled with mineral oil and is going to be donated as a free give-away for the Northeast Georgia Arts Tour. enjoy. Christina |
