Well This is my first propper Netsuke carved from box wood. I've fallen in love with box wood it does everything i want it to do. The detail i can get it to hold is just awesome. I've been taking pictures every now and then of this piece so you can see how it progresses. Any questions about it just ask. ![]() ![]()

Richard, now you can see why netsuke was carved out of boxwood hundreds of years ago. It is my favorite wood, too. I forgot to mention, great carving.
