I know its hard to put a price on this stuff, so far I have had pople order fom me, tell me what they want and what they will pay.
I have no experiance selling this to the GPublic..
Thanks for the suggestion of checking other carvers priceses.

The other funny thing about pricing - and I think was discussed in another thread on this forum - is that often if you set your price high it seems to move better because people figure it must be really good if you are asking that much. Seems to me like too many carvers actually UNDER price their work and their sales suffer for it. I've seen some jewelry boxes not nearly as nice as yours (at least from what I can tell in the photos), in the American Craft store in NYC, with prices of $250 - $500 and more and they sell. Then I've seen something similar on a carver's table at a craft fair where they price it at $75 - $100 and you hear the comments like in my first post and it doesn't sell. Weird - but true. Like I said though - I am only reporting what I've seen. I hope to one day sell some carvings, but . . . that would require me actually CARVING and not just jawing about it here. ;-) LOL
