| | Re: Better pictures of my WsIP No Kathy, I did not design it. Vicki Bishop did and it is carved from a roughout of the Bishops. The little bride wanted it sooooooooo, if she is happy, then I am happy.
The last day of class was our paint day but several had to leave in the afternoon and everyone had at least one carving completed so we painted in the morning and whoever wanted to stay could carve the afternoon away. I had cleaned it up and Vicki, What agracious lady, told me what needed to be done but we left right after that so I carved it at home.
One of the cutest bears I have seen by anyone> Meaning Vicki Bishop's original is the cutest and by no means did I come close to hers.
But I am happy as the little bride is very happy. Well, that is when it is completed. If you know what I mean. |

| | Re: Better pictures of my WsIP Gene I used a # 11, 4 mm first and put the cuts at an angle from the body. Then a # 11, 2 mm over the 4mm cuts and in the 4 mm cuts. Does that make sense? The toes was made with a 1 mm Flexcut with the end angleing out and across from each other then use a knife to cut inbetween the toes of the paws. This way no chipping out the round cut like I was doing with buttons. Thank you Vicki, so simple of a technique but effective.
By the way, where is that gorgious woman at????
Thank you Phil for the sharpening lesson and your help. Greatly appreciated. |
