Great carving Myron! Sure like the way he turned out!! Just wondering....how did you acquire such clean cuts?? Looks like you took some pointers from some of the best carvers on this site. Any hints or recommendations for a rookie????

Blake

Good job Myron, i especially appreaciate it since I'm an old plumber myself and I got to tell you all those "cracks" about the crack, it takes years to get that look down right, laughing, great job though, love seeing the neatness and cleaness of the work looks very professional, thanks for sharing.........

Hi Myron, wonderful carving and great idea modeling for your carving. I took a watercolor self portrait workshop a few years back and our instructor told us if you need a model hire yourself. So I sat up myself and easel in front of a large mirror and I think it turned out pretty good and I learned a lot by doing it.
