I looked for plans, could not find complete plans on making a bellows powered train whistle. I did find a couple sets of plans for making the 4 tone whistle, and a couple more on making a bellows. Should not be too hard to marry the two, I think. We are a creative bunch, after all....

Ebay did have a vintage set of plans for sale.

I apologize for my absence and silence; I've been immersed in other directions for awhile.
I got the plans from Gary Hair at laser Image Laser Image.
The plans were $35 for 18 pages o writing and illustrations. His plans called for a different kind of whistle to make. I made flutes I could tune on a chromatic tuner.
Soooo...yeah. That's how I made it. I then looked up images of the old 4449 for the paint job. My wife uses it in the kitchen now to call me to dinner. It's still a fun thing.
