Default Bear P.T.

An old friend of mine recently sent me a copy of an essay that one of her relatives, a 12-year old girl, had written entitled "There Is No Wrong Time" for a national contest. I understand that the young lady is sponsored by her local VFW and that the essay has to do with "thanking veterans for their service!" I recently learned that she was one of six winners in her state contest and I thought that I'd give her a little recognition by sending her a congratulations card and by sending her one of my bears in a Navy P.T. uniform.

This one is 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 6", carved out of empress wood, and finished with acrylics and water based polyurethane.

Hi Eddy,
Very kind gesture on your part. That young lady deserves some positive reinforcement for her essay supporting our men and women in uniform.
Good looking bear Eddy. Is that a chunk of Gypsum he's standing on ?
Carve on,
Jim
