Default Barnyard stinker

Took a detour from Noah's Arks and animals to do a barn and animals. I have more animals to do yet, but you all can get the idea of what I am trying to show. Momma, papa, and babies. And in this case confronting a visitor. Looking for suggestions on whether to paint the animals or to leave them natural. So far they are just buffed, no color. This will be a play set. Thanks, Tom H

Tom,
I have to say the skunks and rabbit look pretty good, but so do the one natural , looking forward to seeing what you decide.

Oh for petes sake, they are adorable! Reminds me of a story I had heard from a farmer out milking his milk cow late one winter night when the light was low. He said that the cats would always come running to get warm milk while he milked. He was petting one of the cats when it growled at him.. looked down and it was a skunk. Its one of those Ripely's believe it or not stories, but he claims its true.

Good job Tom, I'm voting for the paint on these.

Yup, paint'um Here's a goose reference photo for you, his name is Hannibal. His mate is Clairese. They will soon be 8 years old. I got them just after reading the book "Hannibal". (as in Lector)

Thanks for checkin out the Barn Yard Stinker scene. I am taking the suggestions to paint the animals. While I like the wood finished naturally, this set will be played with by kids, and kids seem to like the color. After more animals and paint I'll post a photo of the completed set. Thanks again for lookin. Tom H
