That's a carving to be proud of (almost expect your man to speak)...I am fascinated by the whole "bark carving" scene, would love to try a "gnome home etc." but have not heard of any trees here in Australia that produce a bark that would be suitable.....Thankyou gents once again

What a terrific job! I love cottonwood bark, easy to carve and such a wonderful look and feel. You did a great job getting debth in that carving. It really brings the face out. I agree it looks real, very nice job and thank you for sharing.
