Default Bald Eagle-- critique it

Here is a 1/4 size American Bald Eagle carved from Tupelo Gum and painted with oils. The dead tree is carved from Basswood and pinned on a piece of Granite which holds it down and takes care of the offset weight.
Don't be shy with your critique, I'm a big boy.

We'll need some closer pics to give you much help Doug, though it looks good from a distance. All angles too, please.

Okay Bob, I'll get some closer pics but it is sold so I will have to wait until I go to Hopkinsville, Ky. to do so. Why don't you just pull it off the board until I can do better?

Ron--I think you did mention about your brother one time but naturally I had forgotten it. Do you ever visit him? If you do maybe we can get together sometime.
