Default Bald is Beautiful (when your only an inch and 3/4 tall

Well gang, here's my second little guy. Whew, what a job he was, I'm glad he's finished for sure. I think I'm now ready to move on to something just slightly larger. It will be a while tho as I'll be laid up for a while after this damn hip of mine is replaced. You'll notice in the photo all the little imperfections on this carving, believe me, I didn't see them till I took the pic, never the less, "what ya sees, is what ya get". Thanks in advance for looking.

Hey Thomp, them tools ain't gonna get rusty fer sure, but I'm gonna leave them little fellas alone for a while, dang, it's tough seein them when yer carvin, then ya take a picture, blow it up and see all the little mistakes ya made. Gonna start tryin something a little bigger when I get back to carvin.

Cliff, that is a nice little fella. Well done! And I think one of the replies is a wee bit off base. I am referring to Thomps suggestion to quickly carve a whole bunch more to "stay ahead of the learning curve". It seems to me that you have the "learning curve down ". But if you're like me, it's that Damn forgettin curve that you have to worry about. If I don't get a chance to reply to any more of your posts before your surgery; well, I wish the best for ya. That is, no pain, quick recovery, and back to the way you're supposed to be.

Great little carving Cliff. Who poses for these carvings of yours anyway. Yes the camera is great to see things that you don't always see with the naked eye. A few times I was taking pics to post here only to go back and recarve a number of areas after I saw the pictures.
By the way, good luck with your surgery.

Cliff,
I think that is a great carving, smaller than I would want to carve ( that small seems like it would be way to hard for me) some one is going to be proud to own him.
