Five weeks after shoulder surgery the Doctor says I can start to use my arm for more than just the usual PT stuff. I can carve as long as I don’t get my left elbow away from my body and I find that I can do quite a bit that way. So I hope to be ready for the Group IV project when my turn comes. I tried to get a bunch of carving ready to paint (pix) before the surgery so I would have something to work on when the time came. One of the spirals in the picture was done by my grandson, it has about 5 glue repairs but he stuck with it and now I’ll oil it so it will be ready for him to paint when he comes back. MCI fall issue came yesterday and I was pleased to see the article on the group carving. Wonder if they will do a follow up with a pattern and such. Another great issue, so many ideas and so little time.
Sergerys are definately a put back in carving,
