Default Baby Chickadees have a roost

I finished mounting the 3 baby chickadees this afternoon. Had to carve out a groove where they were to sit on the branch and then form some little puffy feathers to resemble ones that would fluff out over the branch a bit. No toes on these guys.

This is my bird(s) mounted on a base other than a chunk of wood. I sure like the look and feel of nice finished walnut.

I love it! Is it a gift, are you going to keep it, or are you going to sell it?

Randy great job! It looks like the babies are waiting for mommy to feed them. As you said also the walnut really helps bring the birds out. Bird carver
