| | Re: Another N.A. Indian...WIP Well, it's finally finished. I have completed the sealing, painting, waxing, etc., and present it here for your inspection. I think I got too much burnt sienna on the face but I'm not going to try to change it now. The pictures show the completed piece from various views, including one from the bottom.
I've enjoyed doing this project and have already seen some things that I would do differently if I were ever to do another like it. I appreciate you following along with me on this, and the encouraging remarks which helped keep me motivated. I hope you like it. Thank you.

| | Re: Another N.A. Indian...WIP Great tutorial and great carving. With all your pics and tips, there is no excuse for us to at least give this carving a try. I'm yet to laminate my basswood together as I'm trying to access some of my friend's machine planers.
The colors you've chosen certainly bring out his features. I'm holding out on getting another carving mount so a new burner is further down the list. I may have to do the feathers the old fashion way - V tool. I'll probably be pm you in the near future to help me along. Enjoyed watching the progress. Thanks for all your efforts.
