Default Anoter Wizard and Witch

I had a discussion with another carver who came by my Myspace page and suggested making earrings from Tom's 5-minute Wizard. So, I contemplated the suggestion and said to myself, "Self, I think maybe you can do this!" To which, self replied, "Heck yes, give it a shot!"

These little guys are 1/2" x 1/2" x 2" pine. When done they will have 'fish hook' ear wires. These are fun and nearing completion. I will be sure to post them once they are painted up and I can get the Mrs. to sit for a picture.

I hope you Enjoy!

Keoma, I think I will be painting them with watercolor to let the grain show through and then sealing them with clear lacquer.

Ahhh, yes. The food coloring. How well do the colors mix to attain different hues?

All I can say is get a box out of the kitchen drawer and play with it. The possibilities are endless. Pine is a great one for taking a stain too

Wow. I shrunk the wizard to 3/4 x 3/4 x 3 and converted him to a sort of Santa to make ornaments but yours verge on the microscopic! Nano-Wizard, lol. I too look forward to seeing the finished product.
