Default amish farmer

this is my attempt at an amish farmer,i have used this pattern for several different guys changing it each time by varying the hat or arm positions,he's been a confederate soldier, woodsman, hiker and now amish farmer let me know what you think.

Daddio, he looks really good to me the carving is excellent in fact. I would have to comment on his attire tho, I think he should have had overalls and a black hat (just my opinion)

thanks tucker for the good words i checked several sites and pics and it showed the white or straw hate a good bit kind of as a work hat i took it,and the plain pants some of them black as well, but i went with the white hat and blue pants because i thought it would be too black and white,if you know what i mean.hey that's why i post is to get opinions.

hey Mike, no problem, just that all I've ever seen them wear was black. Can't say I've ever seen one in the farm attire so I'll go with that, it makes sense, the straw hat and all.

Nice looking little carving. Clever. About the only improvement I could suggest would be to cut down the crown of the hat to more closely match the size of the head. But you can do that the next time. Nice one!
