Default acanthus scrolls for a door

I always say I hate to do the same thing twice. I did these scrolls for a door company about 10 yrs ago so I think that's long enough of a time span for me to do the same thing again. These were originally done for a penthouse in NY I believe,,and they are used in the companies advertising. Their customer liked them so much,,they drug me out out,,dusted me off and set me to them again. I'll redo the vertical pieces but not the horizontal ones. I do have to at least design a new piece to go in the center of the door to mimic the horizontal ones,,but have it fill more space.
The vertical ones are only about 16 inches X 5 inches,,,and the central piece should be about 18 or so inches wide X maybe 10-12 inches I guess. don't really know for sure since I haven't designed it yet so we'll see what I come up with. Whatever I do it'll be one of my favorite subjects,,the Acanthus leaf. Neat what you can do with this design to fill up space.

A fun quickie job I didn't expect,,,,I only went there to pick up some wood!

It's easy to see that you do indeed love this style of work.

Excellent, as always.
