Default Acanthus clock WIP

Hi everyone, I'm working on this project that I saw online. I got the idea from a website I found of Rolf Taraldset Master carver Rolf Taraldset
I didn't buy the DVD (I'm too cheap I guess ) but I will save up and buy it in the future so the next clock I do should turn out much better. I came up with my own pattern based on what I saw from the youtube video preview and pretty much guessed on the size. Anywho let me know what you guys think.
Thanks!

Looks like a very nice design. What is the size and thickness of it?
I've got 2 clocks in mind right now, so this is very interesting to me. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Hi Christina,
Mine is about 25.5" long by 8.5" wide and it's just about 2" thick. I will be carving some of the back behind the leaves. Thanks for looking!

Looking really good! That'll have a really elegant look once you get it all finished up. Nice work!

Nice work! Curves are always fun to carve. To me carving something like you are doing that is so traditional can be more rewarding than something free style. You did a great job with the design and i look forward to the finished pictures.
