What a wonderful idea to give the cane to a Vet! Its such a great looking stick I'm sure whoever gets it will love it. Just curious, how do you go about donating something like that?

Again, to all of those that responded after my last reply I thank you all, for you looking at my piece and the nice comments. Jim I will get in touch with my wood carving club for contacts, because,there is a project where we make Eagle Head canes. I just wanted to do something that was a little different, and also Patriotic, and thats where I came up with the idea. I will follow up on the cane thread with the final piece. Thanks again. fred k
