| Wow !! I love it. Did you find the Sassafras hard to work with? I am used to Basswood,and when I do my sticks with Sassafras I found it to be a bit of a challenge. it may also be that I still have a problem trying to sharpen my knife. But I am getting better.

Beautifully done! I am curious how the sassafras works, too. Looks like oak to me - does it work anything like oak? Really nice job, anyway. I like the twists by the bowl.

Very nice. I too am curious about how saaafras carves. I like the grain, I'm glad you posted a pic because I got some sassafrs recently and was wondering what to carve it into.
