i like it too. came out very nice, and fits your hair... i actually like that the colors blend strongly... you make me curious (right word?) to try similar too ...do you think i can do a comb from linden ? will it be strong enough ? and, how well hold a comb like yours your hairdo, when you not sit just still but move around a lot, without caring what your hairdo will do ? (i mean, thats what i do always, so i need and use strong holding devices, otherwise i look like a witch in a few seconds ... lol ...)

Linden is quit a softwood and I am not sure it would hold up very well to stress. I definately use only hardwoods.
How long is your hair?
Is It Thick?
Is it curly?
Thin or straight?
Combs are a fantstic way to create a small piece of useful art! I can send you a pattern if you want. As for me...lol...I tend to go for the Witch look

Please do! Would be grerat to see!
I would suggest wide spaced tines for your thickness of hair. Cant wait to see!
Tomorrow I am carving one from a solid piece of wood, I think that will be really nice too. This will be a fun pattern to alter.

Doris is right! Youre dawdling right now! Go whittle something!
As for my pics...I spent the entire weekend cleaning the house. I know, but it had to be done.
The great thing is that while I was working on the house, my mind was obviously elsewhere! So, I came up with another idea for this pattern...yay me. I think I am making this next idea for myself! I have never done that, but I think it's time I made myself some sort of signature piece that I can ware to shows...I always have my hair down...Anyway...I was up all night so I am rambling...I am off to the shop - you to Chuck!
