Default Yard Stick Tool Box

I made this box a little over 2 months ago. Just now getting around to posting some pictures. It took 7 yard sticks to complete. It would have taken 6 but I goofed up on a few cuts. It is a perfect size for travel. It has a small compartment for pencils, knife, thumb guard etc. It holds more than enough palm tools. There is an insert at the bottom where I place my knives while carrying the box. This piece is removed when the box is opened and when you flip that insert over you will see the leather that I have glued on for my strop. Its very easy to figure out the size of the box. The lid slides like the Flex Cut boxes. I have also put my fine diamond stone on the side of the box using 4 small earth magnets. I welcome any questions.

Really neat design Steve. And using yardsticks makes it pretty darn cool. Great idea!

Couldn't resist. Neat box and definitely an eye catcher.

Great job Steve! What brand of knives are those? And where are the Drake knives, my favorites!

Ingenious! Market it and sell it here in the states! Looks like it would be great for a short haul tool box!

Steve, very well done and creative. Guess we don't have to ask where to get the unique building materials, this time.

What a great idea. I am always searching for a ruler under the chips and shavings. Unless I am using an Arbotec I may have a chance to find one with this idea.

I will have to keep an eye out for some yardsticks here which might be the difficult thing. Maybe some of the craft shops stock them for measuring cloth and dressmaking, curtain making etc.

I really like the idea. it has got that woh factor and yet such a simple idea.

Steve. What a great idea. That box looks good. I think you could market them or at least sell your idea to someone else who would market them.
