HOT HOT HOT,Lee Valley has just come out with a half round spoke shave. Oh man, what a weapon it is. I tried yesterday to debark some sticks and I gotta tell you, it took minutes instead of hours to do. I highly recomend it. Thanks Tom for the scoop on the stick vise. I will definitely be putting one of those together.

a less expencive spoke shave set, http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=39917
its not for round stock like the specilized spokeplane at lee vally but its an alternative for a less used tool if your just experimenting.
