| | Re: Termites!!! I'm not trying to discredit this garbage bag -car exhaust method of killing bugs as it appears it has many believers.
But is it effective? The experts that I have talked to don't feel that there is enough CO concentration, ppm, in the small amount of exhaust that a garbage bag can contain to effectively kill many insects.
Especially, the larvae in the wood that can obtain their minimal oxygen needs from substances other than air.
Also, I've been told that many insect eggs don't need oxygen to stay viable.
Just MO on this subject, I'd like to see some valid documentation that this method actually works. |

| | Re: Termites!!! I neither documented the process, nor tried it under controlled conditions in a laboratory, but the bugs never came back. I works for me.
I guess it is kind of like faith............
