Default Re: Super Glue Gel - great buy!

Question. Have any of you used Super Glue to glue up two halves together. When I carve an animal that is in two pieces I use super glue . So for it works pretty good. No clamping are waiting. Am I doing this all wrong??? I have used wood glues to do the same thing and then wait over night . If Supear glue does the trick why not use it that way? Thanks GinnytooU

What's the rush? I don't get it. I need to glue a couple of 3" x 6" x 16" beaks to a couple of 3" x 12" x 30" Raven bird bodies. 3/4" dowels and strap clamps. Couple of days with carpenter's glue will be OK.
I assembled my two-handed planer knife today.. So-called 5 min epoxy was still soft after 3 hrs. I can fool with it tomorrow.

If you have 6 or 8 WIP, the time can't matter.
