I have both, and they can not be compared beacause they are so different in size you couldn't use one to do the others job. If I had to choose one it would be the Proxxon, it is so handy to get into tight spots.

To continue to sound like a Proxxon rep: there is also a pen sander from Proxxon that is $41, then you have to get a transformer $29 (that can be used with their other tools) so it's the same price roughly. I am very much sold on their quality, and reccomend them to anyone (who can affford them )

Seems like a clever toolsmith ought to be able to forge you one of those...

Your comment about CE - they're not bad, but you can abuse a Milwaukee in ways that will leave a CE smokin'. The other thing a contractor has to consider is, if this thing pukes, where can I get it fixed real fast? In my town the local store has a service center that stocks a lot of redM parts, and I've seen him use a switch out of a brand new one to get a guy back on the job. CE, not so much.

Admittedly, I pay more locally than the best online deals, but having someone so close who stands behind the tools has got to be worth something.

I frequent Harbor Freight quite often but my motto when I enter their store is, "Buyer Be Ware!" I'm not real hot on any of their electrical equipment. It's been my son and I's experience that you've got a 50-50 chance of being satisfied. I bought a miniture hobby lathe that lasted all of one day and I bought a 3/8 reversible drill and went through 3 of them over the course of a weekend before I finally broke down and went and bought a cheap SKIL at Lowes for just a couple of bucks more. But then again my son bought a sawzall from HF and after a major bathroom remodeling and renovation it's still ticking. If anyone decides to purchase any Harbor Freight electrical equipment then I'd recommend buying one of their extended warranty policies. They're cheap and 9 out of 10 times you'll still be way under the cost of a name brand.
