I made a simple jig to hold wire that needed to be soldered. Today I found new uses for it:1. hold the wire stem with leaf while I spray paint it, 2. hold a medium sized paper clip that held a small reference photo, 3. hold a birds foot for soldering and painting. Just take a flat piece of wood or MDF (2 x 3/4 x 12 inches) drill 4-5 holes, evenly spaced apart, the diameter of aligator clips. Glue the aligator clips into the holes and they are ready to accept what you want to clip into them. Buy the better clips as they are stronger. You can design your board any way you wish. How about posting your ideas for design and use? |
