I agree on the price, Merle... I just posted the sources I found so someone could make their own decision as to "higher price, instant acquisition" or "lower price, longer wait"...

Key Abrasives sounds like the way to go.

I've been dealing with Key Abrasives for years so I'd suggest going to the source as they ae the ones shipping to the other places. Besides they're nice people.

You might check out www.supergrit.com . Their prices are hard to beat, and I have had nothing but great service from them.

I think 320 is the finest that they have. That is what Lynn uses I believe.

Key offers several refill choices: slashed resin, plain resin, slashed glue, or plain glue. I don't know the difference, so any preferences?

Thanks for the heads up Merle. I tried for a month and a half to get a sand-o-flex up here, and got nothing but the royal run around. After reading your post I contacted Key Abrasives and had one in the mail the next day. Recieved it this afternoon and gave it a try. Looks like it's just what I was looking for.
I can't believe how helpful this forum and all it's members are when it comes to offering help, tips, and advice. I just can't imagine carving without it.......................next to my knife this forum is the second most used tool that I have

Hi Wayne, Glad I was of help. I hope you enjoy your Sand-o-Flex as much as I do. It makes such a difference in my carvings. Enjoy. Merle
