Lightbulb repairing holes or cracks in deer horn&bone

i've found on working w/ horn a/ bone sometime there improfections ,cracks, a/ sometimes u have to drill holes in it to fill the space w/ steel rod ,wire glue ect...
i've used crazy glue a/ bone dust but it turned out real white ,but if u sand some of the horn w/ a small drum sander make a nice pile mix it w/ clear epoxy [i used 2 ton] fill your holes, cracks ect... it will be the same color as the bone is nateraly if finshed w/ poly, clear, oil ,just polish i made a cane from 7 pcs.leg bones a/ used the hoof at the top for a handle a/ put 3/8 steel rod down though the center a/ in the middle of the toes i filled around the rod by drilling holes a/ injecting the mix ,cracks,joints,a/ between the toes [ i used 5 min. to set fast to build the thicker places] like between the toes were there are 2 finger bones to make a nice handle
and straight edges if bone to make wider ect...1/4thkx3/4wide pcs.use crazy glue it will react w/ the bone a/ make a strong glue joint ect..[ pistol grips]
