Default Re: new shop, Q: how to orginize it?

Lost 3 Walmart bags, a shirt and some angle hair insulation through it already today, a 2 inch pulley on the 3 hp motor and a 12" on the shaft should be slow turning. i ain't seen nothing like this fan, since i was in the service and we got the new F-15s in Alaska, they said anything less than 50 pounds within 50 feet was considered (FOD) forign object damage.. and would be sucked up... a carving chip wont stand a chance of staying in my shop...

the 1/2" case/ cabinet is getting heavy with all the reinforcement and i need it on wheels to change wind direction,
but afraid if i do, ill have to install an anchor.

had a choice of chainlink fence or that red plastic construction fencing to put on it as a guard on entrance and exit to keep the cat and grandchildren safe, guess which i chose.

you cant lean a 1x12x7 feet long against the output side, when you least expect it the wind will catch it and toss it to the floor, needless to say i had to change my shorts when that happened.

Hey Thomp! That thing might suck so much air out of the shop that you'll have to wear an Oxygen mask. Tom H

Tom,

At 3 i came in, and got a cold one, when i went back out it was 103 in there, but felt cooler.
it soon became apparent i was missing my nap. and shortly after a shower I corrected that problem.

im headed to Lowes tomorrow to find some closed cell insulation. and look at some vents.. and a sprinkler, from A shower yesterday brought the inside temp of 100 degrees down to 80 inside of 5 minuets.. anybody know where i can get one of them black rain clouds?
--
Joy,
i don't lay awake for long, when i head off to the rack, i set the tv for 15 sleep minuets and haven't known of it turning off since i got the shed 2 weeks ago,
although the plans of the cabinets are still bugging me, How deep How tall, what hardware.. shelves no shelves?
questions,
but hopefully the table saw will go i n tomorrow and ill make the decision

g'nite
