Default Modified tripod

I managed to pick up a used tripod at our local re use store it was fairly heavy duty no plastic I modified it to hold carvings .It can be adjusted to many positions easy to adjust and lock It can also ajust to different heights. I dismantled the tripod from the top down drilled a few holes bolted on a piece of 2x6 fairle easy to modify. It is quite stable when clamped to a bench and can be mounted in front of a dust collector and is verv transportable.
Gordo.

Hey Gordo, that's a great idea. Is it good and solid? If so looks like it would be quick acting, without a lot of fuss. Merle
