Thumbs up Lighting

Folks when looking for lighting for my shop I wanted an industrial strength swing arm light and or magnifier. Looked several places for one and all i could find was the swing arms with the springs. These have a bad habit of not being able to hold the location you want and wear out easily.

I located the brand of light I wanted (Dazor) and found several on Ebay that have the length and strength for what I desire. I got mine for $50 with shipping but with patience I am sure you can get them cheaper. New they cost over $200. The lights themselves are so good that they have been making the same models for pert near 50 years ( a lot to be said for that).

So in the future if you're looking for a good lamp, these would appear to be one of the best.

Default Re: Lighting

Yep, They're good lights. We use them at work on our drafting tables--well, what little drafting we do anymore--mostly CAD now. The lights are good--bulbs last a long time, too. WOW! I didn't know they were that expensive. But then again, I've been working here 20+ years--and I don't remember the company ordering them. So, they do last a long time, too.
