Default Idea!!!!!!

DUDE! I am so proud of this new idea!!! I purchased the mastercarver hanging unit a couple months ago and LOVE IT! First thing I do is get my knuckles caught on the big hand set chuck gear...not intentional of course! But while in the zone, my hand slid down and before I knew it That thing tore right through a knuckle callous! SO! Here's the idea.

I started with wrapping electrical tape around it...eeeeeh...not so great-worked, but not that great. SO! I cut a bit of old bicycle tubing, slid it up the hand set, it was just snug enough to fit perfectly. It doesn't slip and I can pull it up to change bits. AND my knuckles are safe.

I would post pics, but having tech issues. It works great so I just had to share! Carve on!

Great idea. You can also wrap a 1/4 inch wide rubber band around the handle, about 3-4 times and it guards your hand. I've done this with burning pens also. We can't be too safe. Dick
