As we all know paint splatters are no fun, especially after all the hard work we have done pryer to painting. I found a great way to help erase this problem. I have a box of Q-tips next to me at all times when painting. When a splatter happens or too much paint is applied I grab a Q-tip and touch the surface. The cotton absorbs the paint very quickly and you can continue painting as soon as possible. Also you can wet the Q-tips with water or thinner and do some blotchiness, or blending to the paint you applied. Make sure not to rub to hard otherwise the cotton will come off on your work. I have been saved many times using this method. bird carver (Rob)</IMG>
